Challenge

Quebec furniture manufacturer Amisco faced product-pricing pressure from Chinese competitors. To remain competitive, Amisco had to improve and hasten delivery at lower cost, while providing more product diversity in closer adherence to a custom-manufacturing model.

Strategy

Mobilize the team at Amisco to address, successively, various aspects of the company’s operational model. To that end, the operational model was overhauled, including assembly and packaging, production management, and storage logistics.
